Coming out of the near turn, we have some outstanding nerds driving their steeds hard in the The Test of the Computations!

Despite earning the *base* Trifecta, a couple of cautious Picks nets Wise Orangutan only 9 points, bringing his total to 33 points.

His lead narrows to 3 points, over three Analysts charging from behind with 15-point *base* Trifectas each: Craft Brew, Sponge Mom, and Woody. At 30 points each, Woody holds second place by two head lengths (2 Correct Picks vs. 0 Correct Picks), while Sponge Mom (7 Fibonacci Picks) in third place noses out Craft Brew (6 Fibonacci Picks) in fourth place.

The Strategist (28 points) falls into fifth place after netting 9-point *base* Trifecta. With 9-point *lame* Trifectas, Little Tuna (24 points) drops into sixth place, while Big Tuna (20 points) moves up to seventh place. Rounding out the middle of the field, B-Reezy (19 points) bears down into eighth place and KateTDid (16 points) flutters up one spot into ninth place.

At the back of the pack, Roxy Trot (15 points) surges into tenth place just ahead of Jimmy V (14 points) in eleventh position. Atwork (12 points) in twelfth place edges ahead of The Bookie (12 points) by virtue of Correct Home Team Picks (3 vs. 2).

With his third Trifecta in a row, Wise Orangutan (7 Trifectas and 28 Correct Picks) moves into sole possession of first place! Former AoY Champion The Strategist (6 Trifectas and 27 Correct Picks) in second place and Big Tuna (6 Trifectas and 25 Correct Picks) in third place trail by one length.

Jimmy V (5 Trifectas and 25 Correct Picks) remains in fourth place, one length in front of B-Reezy (4 Trifectas and 25 Correct Picks) in fifth place and Craft Brew (4 Trifectas and 24 Correct Picks) in sixth place.

In seventh place, Woody (3 Trifectas and 23 Correct Picks) moves into a tie with Atwork (3 Trifectas and 23 Correct Picks) Little Tuna (3 Trifectas and 22 Correct Picks) in ninth place and The Bookie (3 Trifectas and 19 Correct Picks) in tenth place.

Down the backstretch, the The Test of the Computations was a real puzzler as only one Analyst earned a *base* Trifecta!

Adding 10 points in Leg 3, Wise Orangutan (24 points) moves to the front, five lengths ahead of The Strategist (19 points), his nearest challenger in second place.

At 15 points each, Craft Brew, Sponge Mom, Woody, and Little Tuna are in a four-way tie for third place. Currently, it is too close too call: Sponge Mom has tiebreakers on Craft Brew and Little Tuna, while Woody has an edge on Sponge Mom but is in a statistical tie with Little Tuna.

Rounding out the middle of the field, B-Reezy (13 points) moves up the board into seventh place, two lengths in front of Big Tuna (11 points) who falls into eighth place.

In the back of the field, Jimmy V (8 points) is in ninth, KateTDid climbs into tenth place, The Bookie (6 points) drops one spot to eleventh position, followed by Atwork (3 points) in twelfth over Roxy Trot (3 points) in thirteenth place on second tiebreaker (2 Correct Home Team Picks).

The Marathon of the Ass is living up to its name after the leaderboard is shaken up for the second week in a row!

With the only Trifectas in Week 10, former AoY Champion The Strategist (6 Trifectas and 25 Correct Picks) and former marathoner & current ass Wise Orangutan (6 Trifectas and 25 Correct Picks) move into a tie for first place!

They overtake Big Tuna (6 Trifectas and 24 Correct Picks) in third place by a head. Jimmy V (5 Trifectas and 24 Correct Picks) in fourth place is stripping down to his skivvies for the dramatic finish to the seventh AoY Championship! Either can retake at least a share of the lead with a better week than the current leaders.

In the midfield, B-Reezy (4 Trifectas and 23 Correct Picks) in fifth place continues to lead Craft Brew (4 Trifectas and 22 Correct Picks) by a head. Both remain in serious contention for the coveted jewel of sports analysis.

In seventh place, Atwork (3 Trifectas and 22 Correct Picks) has a strong portfolio of Correct Picks, but will now need 7 Trifectas in a row to tie his record setting pace from last year! In eighth, Woody (3 Trifectas and 21 Correct Picks) remains in solid contention, trailed by Little Tuna (3 Trifectas and 20 Correct Picks) in ninth place and The Bookie (3 Trifectas and 18 Correct Picks) in tenth place.

Sponge Mom (2 Trifectas and 21 Correct Picks) and KateTDid (2 Trifectas and 18 Correct Picks) remain in eleventh and twelfth place, with Roxy Trot (1 Trifecta and 17 Correct Picks) looking for a wing and a prayer!

Entering the near turn of the Marathon of the Ass, we have our first change of lead during Season VII! In the first eight weeks, Jimmy V set the pace for the field. But, a former Analyst of the Year (in a state of mind to streak!) earns his 3rd straight Trifecta!

Big Tuna moves into sole possession of first place with 6 Trifectas and 22 Correct Picks. It is a precarious lead, as he is followed by one length in second place by Jimmy V, The Strategist, and Wise Orangutan (that must be an error!), each at 5 Trifectas and 22 Correct Picks (as well).

Leading the middle of the field B-Reezy (4 Trifectas, 21 Correct Picks) and Craft Brew (4 Trifectas and 20 Correct Picks) give chase in fifth and sixth place, respectively. A tough, tough back stretch in the Marathon of the Ass. For the second time in four weeks, only two Analysts notch the Trifecta and overall only two Analysts added two Trifectas during the month (Big Tuna and Woody).

Jimmy V now finds himself in a tie with Big Tuna at 5 Trifectas each. On Correct Picks, Jimmy V (20) leads by only one head over his nearest challenger, Big Tuna (19)!

Still within striking distance of the lead, B-Reezy, The Strategist and Wise Orangutan are in a dead heat for third place with 4 Trifectas and 19 Correct Picks each.

In the middle of the field with 3 Trifectas, Atwork (19 Correct Picks) holds sixth place by a half length over Craft Brew and Woody (17 Correct Picks each) in a tie for seventh place. Little Tuna (16 Correct Picks) climbs out of the fish bowl to join the middle of the field in ninth place.

In the middle of the field with 3 Trifectas each, Atwork (17 Correct Picks) holds sixth place by a head over Craft Brew (16 Correct Picks) in seventh place, and two heads in front of Woody (15 Correct Picks), who has quickly separated from the back of the field to take eighth position.
