Down the backstretch, the The Test of the Computations was a real puzzler as only one Analyst earned a *base* Trifecta!
Adding 10 points in Leg 3, Wise Orangutan (24 points) moves to the front, five lengths ahead of The Strategist (19 points), his nearest challenger in second place.
At 15 points each, Craft Brew, Sponge Mom, Woody, and Little Tuna are in a four-way tie for third place. Currently, it is too close too call: Sponge Mom has tiebreakers on Craft Brew and Little Tuna, while Woody has an edge on Sponge Mom but is in a statistical tie with Little Tuna.
Rounding out the middle of the field, B-Reezy (13 points) moves up the board into seventh place, two lengths in front of Big Tuna (11 points) who falls into eighth place.
In the back of the field, Jimmy V (8 points) is in ninth, KateTDid climbs into tenth place, The Bookie (6 points) drops one spot to eleventh position, followed by Atwork (3 points) in twelfth over Roxy Trot (3 points) in thirteenth place on second tiebreaker (2 Correct Home Team Picks).

Spit Box:
1. CURSE 2. Non cursed picks: 3. Need some points this week🤞 4. I’ll stay with the same mounts for this leg of the race. 5. Wanted to go with GB but they’re a little battered;)
The Marathon of the Ass is living up to its name after the leaderboard is shaken up for the second week in a row!
With the only Trifectas in Week 10, former AoY Champion The Strategist (6 Trifectas and 25 Correct Picks) and former marathoner & current ass Wise Orangutan (6 Trifectas and 25 Correct Picks) move into a tie for first place!
They overtake Big Tuna (6 Trifectas and 24 Correct Picks) in third place by a head. Jimmy V (5 Trifectas and 24 Correct Picks) in fourth place is stripping down to his skivvies for the dramatic finish to the seventh AoY Championship! Either can retake at least a share of the lead with a better week than the current leaders.
In the midfield, B-Reezy (4 Trifectas and 23 Correct Picks) in fifth place continues to lead Craft Brew (4 Trifectas and 22 Correct Picks) by a head. Both remain in serious contention for the coveted jewel of sports analysis.
In seventh place, Atwork (3 Trifectas and 22 Correct Picks) has a strong portfolio of Correct Picks, but will now need 7 Trifectas in a row to tie his record setting pace from last year! In eighth, Woody (3 Trifectas and 21 Correct Picks) remains in solid contention, trailed by Little Tuna (3 Trifectas and 20 Correct Picks) in ninth place and The Bookie (3 Trifectas and 18 Correct Picks) in tenth place.
Sponge Mom (2 Trifectas and 21 Correct Picks) and KateTDid (2 Trifectas and 18 Correct Picks) remain in eleventh and twelfth place, with Roxy Trot (1 Trifecta and 17 Correct Picks) looking for a wing and a prayer!

Coming out of the far turn, the The Test of the Computations is shaping up!
With the only *base* Trifectas in Leg 2, The Strategist (14 points) and Wise Orangutan (14 points) are running neck and neck (currently, no leader on tiebreakers). Big Tuna (11 points) in third place and Craft Brew (10 points) in fourth place trail closely if the lengthy, five-Leg Crown Race.
In the middle of the field, five Analysts have solid starts with 8 points each: Jimmy V, B-Reezy, Sponge Mom, Woody, and Little Tuna. Little Tuna has 1 Correct Home Team Pick, but Sponge Mom has a head-to-head tiebreaker over her, so there is no clear candidate for fifth place at this time.
The Bookie (6 points) heads the back of the field in tenth position, followed by Atwork and Roxy Trot (3 points) in eleventh place, and KateTDid molting with 0 points.

Entering the near turn of the Marathon of the Ass, we have our first change of lead during Season VII! In the first eight weeks, Jimmy V set the pace for the field. But, a former Analyst of the Year (in a state of mind to streak!) earns his 3rd straight Trifecta!
Big Tuna moves into sole possession of first place with 6 Trifectas and 22 Correct Picks. It is a precarious lead, as he is followed by one length in second place by Jimmy V, The Strategist, and Wise Orangutan (that must be an error!), each at 5 Trifectas and 22 Correct Picks (as well).
Leading the middle of the field B-Reezy (4 Trifectas, 21 Correct Picks) and Craft Brew (4 Trifectas and 20 Correct Picks) give chase in fifth and sixth place, respectively. At 3 Trifectas each, Atwork (21 Correct Picks) is in seventh place, Woody (19 Correct Picks) is in eighth place, Little Tuna (18 Correct Picks) is in ninth place, and The Bookie (17 Correct Picks) is in tenth place.
Trailing with 2 Trifectas each, Sponge Mom (19 Correct Picks) and KateTDid (17 Correct Picks) are in eleventh and twelfth place, while Roxy Trot (1 Trifecta and 16 Correct Picks) is poised to fly like an Eagle the rest of the season!

The Analysts have submitted their papers and claimed their Home Teams. The Claim Box for Fibonacci Stakes VII is:
Home Team Claims for Fibonacci Stakes VII
Slate of Games
Slate of Games for Fibonacci Stakes VII
The Fibonacci Stakes looks to be wide open this year as the Slate of Games features 46 games over 5 Legs, and features thirteen head-to-head contests! The most challenging may be the 1st and 3rd Legs when only 8 total games and 3 head-to-head games are available for selections (both weeks). Several playoff-caliber teams go on Bye weeks during the Stakes, limiting the potential for Fibonacci bonuses during the month!
Six Home Teams are bye-weeks during Fibonacci Stakes VII. Bye weeks will limit the following teams as Picks for Fibonacci bonuses: Browns and Eagles (Leg 1), Chiefs (Leg 2), Bears and Bills (Leg 3), and Buccaneers (Leg 5). Bonus points are not possible when these teams are in or coming out of a Bye Week.
Alternatively, several un-Claimed teams are eligible for Fibonacci bonuses during the Race: 49ers (Leg 1 to Leg 2), Colts (Leg 1 to Leg 2), Panthers (Leg 1 to Leg 2), Colts (Leg 2 to Leg 3), Jaguars (Leg 2 to Leg 3), Rams (Leg 2 to Leg 3), Colts (Leg 3 to Leg 4), Jaguars (Leg 3 to Leg 4), and Broncos (Leg 4 to Leg 5). The un-Claimed teams must be taken in both Legs (and Win the second) to yield Fibonacci bonuses.
Home teams owned by an Analyst are in bold. The team at the left is the visiting team; the team at the right is the host (playing at home). There are many featured games: five Thursday nights (TNF), five Sunday nights (SNF), and four Monday nights (MNF).
Picks
Remember: Every Analyst has a bias for his or her Home Team and may NOT pick their Claimed team to lose. Analysts do not have to pick his or her Home Team to win. See the Stakes Rules for more.
Email picks in private to The Bookie before each Leg (week) of the Race. Thursday Picks are due at 5pm EST / 2pm PST on Thursdays. All Sunday and Monday Picks are due on Saturdays at 5pm EST / 2pm PST. No Picks for games after kickoffs are accepted.
No revisions (Re-Picks) are possible after the Picks have been released to all Analysts by The Bookie.
