The Marathon of the Ass featured four lead changes in the final half of the final week of WFTL Season VII! At the wire, Craft Brew challenged Wise Orangutan for the Win, while The Strategist challenged Craft Brew for Place. And the Winner is…

Wise Orangutan! At 10 Trifectas and 41 Correct Picks on the season, Wise O. ties Atwork for the best record in a single season. He ekes by Craft Brew (9 Trifectas and 40 Correct Picks), who equaled his showing from last year and, for a record fourth straight season, he finishes in the Winners’ Circle of the AoY! In Show, The Strategist (8 Trifectas and 40 Correct Picks) returns to the Winner’s Circle.

Season VI runner-up Jimmy V (7 Trifectas and 37 Correct Picks) finishes in a respectable fourth place. In a three-way tie at 6 Trifectas, Season VI champion Atwork (38 Correct Picks) takes fifth place, just ahead of Woody (37 Correct Picks) in sixth Place and Big Tuna (35 Correct Picks) in seventh place.

Former champions B-Reezy (5 Trifectas and 34 Correct Picks) and Little Tuna (5 Trifectas and 34 Correct Picks) share eighth place, while Roxy Trot (5 Trifectas and 33 Correct Picks) takes tenth place and The Bookie (5 Trifectas and 32 Correct Picks) ends in eleventh position.

In the contest for second-to-last place and the final Claim to a Home Team in the Super Trifecta Bowl, Sponge Mom (4 Trifectas and 35 Correct Picks) outlasts KateTDid (4 Trifectas and 32 Correct Picks) in thirteenth position. Three Analysts scored in every Leg in the seventh running of The Seeders’ Cup, but only one takes home Purse after a slow starter finishes on a blistering pace! Could the front runner give up her third lead of the season in the final Leg???

And the Winner is….

Woody with 48 points total! Accumulating 2 *Base* Trifectas and 30 Seeder points over four Legs, she breaks maiden with her first career Win!

Entering the homestretch in second place, Atwork and Jimmy V hit a rough spot in the Missouri mud, creating an opening for another Analyst to Place. From out of fourth, Craft Brew (42 points total) Places after adding 33 Trifecta points in the final two Legs! Atwork (40 points total) then adds to his entries in the Winner’s Circle with a Show.

Roxy Trot (35 points) finishes in fourth place. In a tie at 33 points each, Little Tuna takes fifth place on 3 Correct Home Team Picks, while The Strategist takes sixth place on third tiebreaker (20 Seeder points) over Jimmy V (18 Seeder points) in seventh place. KateTDid climbs into eighth place with 31 Trifecta points.
