Slate of Games for the Player Haters Preakness III

The slate of games for the Player Haters Preakness III may prove to be a brutal test of Analyst’s acumen. With only 2 head-to-head competitions this month (first tiebreaker), most Analysts will have to win the Run of the Black-Eyed Analysts with wits alone.

In Leg 1, Wise Orangutan travels to face Big Tuna. Leg 4 pits the young stallions, B-Reezy and Atwork, against one another. layer Hater Bonus Points may not be earned from the two head-to-head Analyst match-ups.

Leg 3 may prove to be the difference as 5 of 7 Analysts’ Home Teams go on the road against notable challengers (one team on a bye week). In Leg 4, two teams go on bye weeks and limit the available choices to FIVE games total — a photo finish in the making!

Home teams owned by an Analyst are in bold. The team at the left is the visiting team; the team at the right is the host (playing at home). There are a handful of featured games: two Thursday nights, two Sunday nights, and one Monday games.

In total, five Home Teams enjoy a bye week during the Preakness.

Picks

Remember: Every Analyst has a bias for his or her Home Team and may not pick the sponsored team to lose. Analysts do not have to pick his or her Home Team to win a trifecta. *Bonus* trifecta points are earned for picking against other Analysts’ Home Teams in a winning trifecta. See the Preakness Rules for more.

Email three picks to The Bookie before each leg (week) of the Race. The first picks are due on Saturday, October 8.

Minds Blank has been scratched from the Annual competition. A whistle blower informed The Clearinghouse that the first-ever Analyst of the Year has been conferring with all-powerful beings to gain an insight into future events following her disappointing second season in the World Football Trifecta League. Guido has been dispatched to ensure the integrity of the races and to work with local authorities to monitor the use of performance-enhancing drugs (PEDs) by the disgraced Analyst of the Pacific Northwest.
