WFTL Season VII Preparations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The General Rules for the World Football Trifecta League<\/a> have been updated such that Analysts must relinquish Claims to Home Teams to start the season and the Analysts Claim new Home Teams in reverse of the Standings for the prior season’s Analyst of the Year. Every third year, Claims Order is determined by a random drawing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No Analysts went to pasture and no new Analysts joined the WFTL. The Claims Order for the 13 returning Analysts is then:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  2. KateTDid <\/li>
  3. Wise Orangutan <\/li>
  4. The Strategist <\/li>
  5. Woody <\/li>
  6. Big Tuna <\/li>
  7. The Bookie <\/li>
  8. Sponge Mom <\/li>
  9. Roxy Trot <\/li>
  10. B-Reezy <\/li>
  11. Craft Brew <\/li>
  12. Jimmy V <\/li>
  13. Atwork<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Key Dates for Season VII:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    September 6<\/strong> – Select Home Teams.
    September 20<\/strong> – Send The Bookie your share of the Purse for the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Improved Season VII Rules<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    1) To start the new Season, Analysts must relinquish Claims to Home Teams from the prior season. New Claims will be made in reverse order of the Standings for the prior season’s Analyst of the Year. Every third year, the Claims Order will be determined by random drawing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    2) With the expanded playoff field to 14 teams in the professional football league, all but the last Analyst in the Claims Order will have a Claim for the Super Trifecta Bowl. This means 12 of 13 Analysts will have a Claim to one of the 14 playoff teams, while the Analyst with No Claim will have 2 playoff Teams to play the spoiler.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    3) The Analysts determined that NO new rules for the COVID-19 crisis will be adopted. If games are canceled after Picks are in or if a Home Team is sent to pasture due to an outbreak, the Analysts will have no recourse other than what is provided in the Standard Rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
