In Season I, Big Tuna earned the first Trifecta in WFTL history and the most Trifectas over 17 weeks (7). Two Analysts, Minds Blank and Kal Krome, joined the WFTL in week 2 of Season I. The Analysts, including Big Tuna who then held the only Trifecta in the WFTL season, agreed to shorten the Analyst of the Year competition to 16 weeks. Big Tuna then tied both Minds Blank and Kal Krome with 6 Trifectas at the end of the shortened season and Placed on tiebreakers. At the most recent meeting of the competition committee, the members unanimously agreed that if not for Big Tuna&#8217;s generosity and sportsmanship, the Analyst of the Year competition may never have become the most prestigious award in sports analysis.
