The Bookie
The Bookie manages the Picks and the Home Team Selections.
Picks: Each week, the Bookie announces when she has made her three game winner selections (recorded on her honor). Analysts then send private messages to the Bookie with their three Picks. After all Analysts have submitted Picks, the Bookie posts all Picks for review by the Analysts.
Home Team Selections: At the beginning of the season and after each Crown Race, the Bookie collects in private the intentions of Analysts to release or keep their current Home Team (or horse). After the Analysts have made their intentions known, the Bookie announces the Analysts intentions and manages the new Home Team selection process as governed by the General Rules.
The Clearinghouse
The Clearinghouse manages the weekly Slate of Games and tracks Trifecta Point Standings earned by Analysts in the Races.
Slate of Games: Each week, the Clearinghouse distributes the list of games eligible for picks and provides helpful keys to note *bonus* Trifecta Point possibilities or restrictions.
Trifecta Point Standings: The Clearinghouse verifies and tracks Trifecta Points and tiebreaker statistics earned by the Analysts and distributes weekly updates with the standings after each leg of the Races.
The Enforcer
The Enforcer maintains the legality, civility and integrity of the competition.
Purse: The Enforcer collects the Purse at the beginning of the racing season. After a winner has been determined in one of the events in the Quaternary Crown, the Enforcer sends 20% of the Purse to the winning Analyst.
Civility: An Analyst deemed to be elevating the trash talk beyond normal boundaries or otherwise compromising the civility of the competition will receive a visit from The Enforcer, at the discretion of The Bookie.
Integrity: An Analyst deemed to be cheating, withholding Purse monies, or otherwise compromising the integrity of the competition will receive a visit from The Enforcer, at the discretion of The Bookie.
